The Acute Visiting Service (AVS) will provide a home visit if deemed appropriate following an initial telephone assessment with the GP. This team is staffed by experienced paramedics who work closely with the GP’s.
We also have access to district nurses, community matron, specialist community nurses and social prescribing link workers who can all help to advise and support you. Video consultation, photographs and transport to surgery can be facilitated for you by arrangement.
