Travel Vaccinations

We offer a limited health provision here at Stainland Road Medical Centre.

Where needed, Hepatitis A, Typhoid and Tetanus vaccinations can be offered as part of this service and these are free and given dependant on your travel itinerary.

Using the guide below, click on your area of travel for advice on what is required. Anything other than the 3 vaccinations mentioned above will likely need a more specialised approach and we would strongly recommend seeking this.

You can find advice from sites such as: www.masta-travel-health.com/booking/travel

If you require the vaccinations mentioned above or if you are still unsure, please complete the travel questionnaire below as soon as possible. Hand in to the reception at least 8-10 weeks before travelling.

If you are travelling sooner please contact Masta.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below.

An appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
